Hanami Japanese Sushi & Hibachi S Teaak House

I've been to plenty of sushi places and Japanese restaurants in Connecticut, but I must say Hanami takes the cake for me! From appetizer to entree to dessert, the food was fresh and flavorful ranging from classic/creative takes on sushi to the comforting taste of ramen and choices of toppings. Compared to the other places I've been to where they go over the top on some dishes, at this place, I could taste the quality elements of each roll joined together to create a balanced blend of flavors. Not only that, the staff were extremely friendly, taking care of my party and I to ensure that we would have a loving fine dining experience through their customer service. They've certainly met our expectations and more coming from a family restaurant doing their best to ensure your time with them is first rate. Anyone who wishes settle down to enjoy fresh, innovative, umami Japanese Cuisine in Clinton, Hanami is the place to be.

First time dining with my family here and we were delighted with our experience. Every dish was beautifully constructed and more importantly, tasted amazing! You can just tell the ingredients are top notch, fresh, and well worth the price of the dinner. Nowhere else on the shoreline near Clinton can compare so far. Service was friendly and attentive and we will be sure to come back again soon!

Hanami is a true gem for anyone seeking a quality dining experience. From the moment you enter, the warm and welcoming service will make you feel at home. Everyone was so kind and respectful. But it's really the food that sets this place apart. I ordered the sushi deluxe and it didn’t disappoint.The presentation alone was a feast for the eyes, and the taste was even better. The sushi was so delicious and fresh!
